Having studied Business and being a graphic designer by trade, Simon is both strategic and creative when solving complex problems for brands.

Originally from Australia, his first job was at Billabong before starting a small design studio in Melbourne. He moved to London to further hone his craft, working alongside some of the best creatives in the world — first at Winkreative (Monocle magazine's branding arm) and later at Moving Brands. Simon then moved to New York City to work at Gretel, leading memorable campaigns and award-winning identities with Nike, The New York Times, The Athletic, PayPal, Mode, and MoMA.

After brief stints at TwentyFirstCenturyBrand and Wolff Olins, Simon now leads multidisciplinary teams at BUCK, crafting thoughtful and stunning brand systems at scale.

Simon serves as a mentor at SVA and D&AD Shift — a program dedicated to giving people without a traditional design education entry into the creative industries. He was also a judge at this year’s D&AD awards in the typography category.
