Opportunity

The switch to a new data provider, presented BBC Weather an opportunity to update its identity and create a world-class and consistent experience. With this came a new concept that would define their approach — window on the weather.

Outcome

Moving Brands embedded with the BBC team for months, helping them to push the concept and execute across digital and broadcast. One specific challenge was how to visualize the weather. A modular and layered photographic system was developed, allowing the team to build scenes that expressed the various weather types throughout the year, and even throughout the day.
