Opportunity

Eircom’s investment in its new brand marked the largest brand transformation in Ireland in over 20 years. The rebrand offered a unique and timely opportunity to transform the business in its customers’ hearts and minds. 

Outcome

The rebrand started with a shortening of the name, from Eircom to eir. A bold brand system followed (including a new custom typeface) capturing the properties of air — uplifting, elevated and vital.
